DP Global Securities (Private) Limited (DPGS) was incorporated in 1984 as Serendib Trust Services Limited to become the fifth firm to be admitted as a member firm of the Colombo Stock Exchange. In 1994 it was sold to the TA Group of Malaysia and was renamed as TA Securities Lanka Limited. DPMC Financial Services (Private) Limited, acquired the Company in November 1999 and has been managing it since then. DP Global Securities is a member of the David Pieris Group of Companies which is among the most respected in Sri Lanka’s corporate establishment. DP Global is a wholly owned subsidiary of DPMC Financial Services (Private) Limited, (DPMCFS) which is the holding Company in the financial services sector of the Group.

Since the acquisition by the present management, the Company has been able to grow in terms of assets, branch network and staff. The Company has been able to understand the requirements of the retail clients and provides a personalized service through the head office and branch network.

Our highly qualified dynamic young team has grown with the Company. The introduction of the internet trading system in 2005 has helped the Company to attract new clients and the Company uses one of the latest software systems in the industry today for its operations which gives Clients’ and Investment Advisors better information.
